I am so lucky for the NHS

Well without the NHS I seriously don't know where i'd be today. It's certainly been a struggle but they have truly been amazing. The amount of times I've been in and out of hospital, to and from the doctors, to see specialists, to the physio, for counselling... I would be in an immense amount of debt. Not to mention all of my medication.

In the UK we are so lucky to have such an amazing healthcare system with many benefits to those who have diseases. I have an underactive thyroid and before discovering that I used to get ill quite often, so it certainly makes sense that my thyroid isn't perfect. I feel like at this time its definitely made me realise how fantastic the NHS are and how they truly are heroes!

It wasn't until a recent flare up, in which it meant me going to A&E and getting some stronger pain relief on prescription, how its so good that I don't have to pay due to my thyroid illness. In many places all over the world, their healthcare is different and the debt I would've put my family in if I lived there would be unimaginable.

There are many others like me that are perhaps in a similar situation, and although it sucks, we must look at the positives. I would love to raise money for the NHS, to say thank and to simply keep supporting them.
